Honors/Awards:
I have been the sole author, co-author or contract writer of 14 study guides for Microsoft, CompTIA and Adobe certifications. My publisher was Sybex Books. I have not written or published a book in several years, however. I earned a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in 1994. In 2004 I earned a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award. I was a contributor on the CDE Computer Science standards committee. I am currently in the America Achieves Colorado Educator Fellowship program.
Life outside of teaching looks like:
My Ph.D. is in Biblical Studies. I love ancient languages like Hebrew and Greek, and the Bible. I enjoy studying up on technical topics for my classes, and spiritual topics with my wife. I am a YouTube-aholic, and a TV-aholic. My wife and have been married over 40 years. I have three grown adult children and two granddaughters. I have a 3.2 pound miniature Yorkie named "Minnie." I am desperately trying to give up carbs and sugar, but have some difficult times doing so some days.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix
Master's degree in Business Administration from Regis University
Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University.
I have had my principal's license since 2010, but prefer teaching in the classroom.
