Adult Applicants

To be considered for a Warren Tech Program, adult students must complete the following process each year:

  1. Apply for admission at Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) online at

  2. For those students that choose to, Red Rocks Community College is offering a self-guided assessment in place of the Accuplacer Assessment.

The self-guided assessments were created to help you determine the appropriate levels of course work that align with your personal educational goals, skills and abilities. Before taking the self-guided assessment, take a few minutes to read about the assessment at:

All applicants must complete the English self-assessment. Applicants must have an English level allowing them to enroll in ENG0092 or higher for all Warren Tech programs. In addition, applicants for all Automotive programs and Precision Machining must also complete the Liberal Arts Math self-assessment. Applicants must have a math level allowing them to enroll in MAT 0250 or higher to be considered for these programs.

  3. Complete and submit the Warren Tech Adult Application.

To be considered for admission, the application requires you include ONE of the following:
    ◦ Your college transcript
    Self-guided assessment
    ◦ Accuplacer scores
    ◦ SAT results
(Please note applicants are not guaranteed acceptance to Warren Tech.)

Applications are accepted starting December 5, 2023 and placed on a waitlist once received.

Students can apply after the priority deadline until the start of the 2024-25 school year. These applicants are considered Round 2 applicants, and are put on a waitlist. If space becomes available, they will be notified about their acceptance status on a rolling basis up until the start of the 2024-25 school year.

  4. Wait to be notified of acceptance to Warren Tech. Upon acceptance, you must make an appointment to complete your initial registration with Kristin Uhland in the Red Rocks Community College admissions office at 303.914.6141 or [email protected].

  5. Once registration is complete with Kristin Uhland, you must pay your Red Rocks Community College tuition and fees and the additional Warren Tech fee at the cashier’s office at RRCC. For current Warren Tech fee information contact Warren Tech, 303.982.8600.
